Along with gyrotrons for fusion research, GYCOM manufactures setups for microwave processing of different materials (e.g., ceramics sintering) which employ medium-power gyrotrons. Technological units, each of which usually includes a set of power supplies, operation chamber, cooling and control systems, have been purchased by research laboratories in USA, Germany, Japan, and China.
